DILG evaluating performance of peace councils

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has started evaluating 1,733 local peace and order councils to determine possible strategies to improve their performance.
-
The evaluation intends to improve peace and order in every jurisdiction of the POCs in 17 regions, 82 provinces, 149 cities and 1,485 municipalities.
The assessment will be based on two indicators, which are functionality and development.
