Change in Batangas is happening not just through new policies, but through programs that directly benefit our kababayans.

From remote barangays to busy town centers, the provincial government is rolling out projects that improve healthcare, strengthen education, and boost community resilience.

All these efforts fall under the “Matatag na Batangas” framework, which focuses on empowering Batangueños. By providing tools, skills, and support, the province is helping residents build better lives for themselves and their communities.

The initiative emphasizes providing quality and accessible health services. In line with this commitment, district hospitals across the province are undergoing evaluation and rehabilitation.

Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto reported that the provincial hospital in Tuy has secured its license to operate and will now function as a Level-1 hospital with 50-bed capacity — an essential upgrade for basic medical care.

New facilities are also planned in Rosario and Sta. Teresita to serve underserved communities.
