December 21, 2024

With the influx of air and sea travelers expected during the holidays, measures have been put in place to prevent congestion.

- ELIJAH FELICE ROSALES

More than 4.5 million sea passengers are expected during the Christmas season, Philippine Ports Authority general manager Jay Santiago said yesterday.

Despite the projection, Santiago said no port nationwide will be congested.

Frontline personnel will follow a no-leave policy from Dec. 22 to Jan. 3, 2025 to ensure full manpower, he noted.
