Aboitizes, Yuchengcos Team Up for Tarlac Estate Project

The Aboitiz Group's LIMA Land Inc. is teaming up with the Yuchengco Group's House of Investments (HI) to develop a 184-hectare mixed-use property in Tarlac.
Under the joint venture, the 184-hectare property owned by HI subsidiary Tarlac Terra Ventures Inc. will be developed and managed in partnership with LIMA Land.
LIMA Land will serve as the exclusive provider of project management, estate operations and general support services for the site.
HI will hold a 51-percent stake in the project, while LIMA Land will have 49 percent.
HI president and CEO Lorenzo Tan said the project would be the company's first major venture into economic estates.
Tan said that it would be an expansion of HI's business interests in horizontal property development, diversifying the group's property portfolio.
