I'm a fan of celebrity chef Giada de Laurentiis. Her epicurean talents truly shine when she prepares scrumptious meals. She moves gracefully around the kitchen, where she is free to chop mushrooms and bell peppers, whisk egg yolks and sugar together, mix ingredients in a bowl, fry a chicken or grill a steak until it turns golden brown.

Giada may not have followed in the footsteps of her famous grandfather, movie producer Dino de Laurentiis, by becoming an actress, but she has created her own luminous star in the culinary world.

I think Giada would be delighted to discover that there is a newly opened restaurant in the Philippines called Café K, which presents a conscious dining experience to its customers. Café K offers diners a chance to savor flavorful meal options in a cozy and refined setting. It is the latest venture from the team behind the Kinetix gym brands—Kinetix Lab, Kinetix+, and Kinetix Kids. It is located at the ground floor of M1 Tower in Salcedo Village, Makati.

The kitchen is supervised by executive chef Carlos Lanzona, kitchen manager and registered dietitian Dan Pambid, and registered dietitian Meg Arzadon.
