360 Marcos Appointees Awaiting CA Confirmation

The Commission on Appointments (CA) will be screening the qualifications of 360 appointees of President Marcos as Congress resumes session today following a four-month recess.
"Our understanding is that Senate President Francis Escudero wants all pending appointments processed before Congress adjourns sine die on June 13," Assistant Minority Leader Rep. Johnny Pimentel said.
He said five separate CA committees will convene on June 3 and 4 to begin deliberations on the qualifications of Marcos' key appointees.
