2 QCPD Officials Charged Over Detainee's Release

For allowing a female detainee to leave her cell to meet with her family at a hotel last month, two officials of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) are facing criminal charges.
Sacked QCPD-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) chief Maj. Don Don Llapitan and his subordinate Lt. Dexter Bernadas were charged before the city prosecutor's office for violation of Article 156 of the Revised Penal Code or the delivery of prisoners from jail.
