President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday said that voting is not merely a political expression but a reflection of citizens' faith in the democratic process of elections, as she addressed the 16th National Voters'
Day celebrations here.The President said the strength of Indian democracy lies not only in the large number of voters but also in the depth of its democratic spirit, noting that even the oldest citizens, divyang voters and people living in remote areas actively exercise their franchise. She commended aware voters and all those associated with the election machinery under the leadership of the Election Commission of India for ensuring inclusive participation.
