JKMEF delegation call on CS, submit memo

A delegation of the Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), led by its president S. Jaswinder Singh, on Saturday submitted a memorandum to Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo seeking restoration of two-and-a-half days’ salary of non-gazetted employees of the Health and Medical Education Department.
The delegation urged immediate revocation of Order No. Acctt/236/2022-02 dated January 20, 2026, and referred to earlier provisions, including SRO-91 and SRO-20 of 1991, arguing that certain categories had been wrongly treated as ministerial staff. It maintained that as per SRO-20 of 1991 and SRO
