Dimple leads protest rally over LPG price hike
The Northlines
|12 March 2026
Mission Statehood president Sunil Dimple on Wednesday led a protest rally along with hundreds of traders on Janipur High Court Road against the alleged shortage of LPG cylinders and the recent price hike.
Protesters also burnt effigies to highlight issues of black marketing and supply gaps.Addressing the gathering, Dimple alleged that consumers are facing long waiting periods of up to 25 days for LPG bookings. He also claimed that many people are unable to book cylinders online as OTPs are not being received on mobile phones.
