Executing their skills in accordance with the ploy set by their Coach Ajay Sharma, former International cricketer, clinical J&K thrashed Goa by a big margin of 73 runs, thus began their campaign in style in the on going prestigious Dev Bhoomi Gold Cup Cricket Tournament at Ayush Cricket Academy ground, Dehradun, today.

Earlier, put into bat, J&K scored a good total of 311 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. Yawer Hassan and skipper Shubham Singh Pundir showed stellar grit and tenacity to notch up brilliant fifties. Yawer scored 61 off 51 balls, studded with 9 fours and 2 sixes, while Pundir contributed 57 off67 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
