The All Jammu and Kashmir JattSabha (AJKJS) has decided to launch a membership drive across the Union Territory and frame a formal constitution before conducting democratic elections to choose new office bearers.

AJKJS to hold elections for new office bearers after membership drive

The decision was announced by Sabha President and former Minister S. Manjit Singh while addressing a press conference at the Press Club, Jammu, along with Chief Patron and former MP Tarlok Singh Bajwa and other senior leaders. Singh said the Sabha unanimously resolved to enroll members from the Jatt community across Jammu and Kashmir prior to holding elections, marking a shift from the earlier practice of appointing office bearers.
