Patanjali Ayurved continues to violate SC directions on misleading adverts

DESPITE a severe reprimand from the Supreme Court for disseminating misleading advertisements for his Ayush products, yoga guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved continues to breach regulations prohibiting the advertisement of certain drugs for treating specific diseases and disorders.
In an affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court on July 9, Patanjali Ayurved assured that all advertisements for 14 Ayurvedic medicines, which had been suspended by the State Licensing Authority in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, would be removed and withdrawn.
However, Patanjali Drishti Eye Drop is still being advertised on social media, particularly on micro-blogging site X.
