Output dips as Ambattur Aavin shuts partially; Padalur dairy plant pitches in

TO facilitate civil and engineering works at the production area of Ambattur dairy, the Aavin has partially shut the plant, reducing daily output from 4.5 to 3 lakh litres.

According to an official statement, the maintenance work will last for 20 days starting from Monday.
Officials from Aavin mentioned that efforts are being made to receive 1.5 lakh litres of milk from Padalur Aavin plant in Perambalur district to compensate for reduced production. "1.5 lakh litres sourced from Padalur dairy and other locations are being distributed to Sholinganallur, Madhavaram, and Ambattur dairies for processing and packing," said a senior official from Aavin.
