BSP president Mayawati on Sunday urged Chief Minister MK Stalin to refer the probe into the murder of the party's state president K Armstrong to the CBI.
Addressing people after paying homage to Armstrong in Perambur, she said the persons arrested so far were not the real culprits. The way Armstrong was murdered showed there was no law and order in the state.
"Only a CBI probe can unravel the truth behind the incident. It is very important to ensure security for weaker sections and Dalits in the state. I would like to tell Armstrong's family that our party is with them in their time of grief," Mayawati said.
