NH work triggers landslide, man dies

A man was killed and his wife seriously injured after a landslide triggered by the ongoing NH construction buried their house at Laksham Veedu Colony in Koombanpara near Adimali late on Saturday night.

The deceased is Biju, 50, of Nedumballikkudi House. His wife Sandhya suffered serious leg injuries and is being treated at Rajagiri Hospital in Ernakulam.
