WEEKS after launching its iPhone 16 series, Apple announced that it will manufacture its entire iPhone 16 lineup, including premium devices, in the country.
- India-made iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max to be available soon for local customers and export
This marks the first instance of Apple producing premium devices outside China. The Cupertino-based company stated that India-made iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will soon be available for local customers and export to select countries worldwide.
"Apple is now manufacturing the entire iPhone 16 lineup, including iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, in India," said Apple in a statement.
