Discipline leaders making ‘objectionable, violent' remarks on Rahul: Kharge to PM

CITING 'objectionable' and 'violent' statements by the members of the ruling alliance targeting Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discipline his leaders.
In his letter to the PM, Kharge said that strict legal action should be taken against those giving such statements, so that Indian politics can be prevented from becoming degenerate.
"The world is shocked that the Minister of State for Railways (MoS) in the Central government and a minister from BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh are calling the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha 'number one terrorist'," Kharge wrote, apparently referring to the remarks by MoS Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu and UP minister Raghuraj Singh.
