Cong march seeks 'justice' for victims of Gujarat tragedies

THE Gujarat Congress on Friday launched a 'Nyay Yatra', a 14-day foot march, to seek justice for the victims of four major tragedies that took place in the BJP-ruled state over the last five years.
The yatra, which will cover nearly 350-kms before reaching Gandhinagar on August 23, will seek justice for the victims of 2019 Takshashila fire incident in Surat, Morbi bridge collapse of 2022, and Vadodara boat capsize and TRP game zone fire in Rajkot. The march, which started from Morbi, will also highlight issues of corruption, bootlegging and proliferation of counterfeit officials within the state, Congress leaders said.
