Says he will go to Meghalaya for hearing in the murder case so that she gets punishment

- EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @ Bhopal

GOVIND Raghuvanshi, the brother of Sonam, who is accused of getting her husband Raja Raghuvanshi killed in Meghalaya during their honeymoon, visited Raja's family in Indore on Wednesday and said she should get the death sentence if found guilty.

The brother's assertion comes two days after his and Sonam's father, Devi Singh, claimed that his daughter was 100% innocent in the case.

Govind told the media, "Sonam told me in Ghazipur (UP) that she had nothing to do with the crime, I don't know whether she has confessed to the crime now or not. But the evidence which is now being reported clearly suggests that she had got it (Raja's killing) done. If proven guilty, she should get the death sentence. I'll personally ensure she gets that punishment."
