Madapalli locals want stagnant sewage water removed from roads, submit plea

AROUND 15 residents of Madapalli panchayat in Tirupattur submitted a petition with District Collector K Sivasoundaravalli on Monday seeking measures to remove the stagnant sewage water on their roads, which has been affecting 60 families in the locality.
Speaking to TNIE, S Jayanthi said the drainage system in the panchayat was constructed two years ago, but no provision was made for the water to flow out. As a result, the drain water accumulates and spills onto the street, she said.
