CHIEF Minister M K Stalin will be boycotting the At Home Reception to be hosted by Governor R N Ravi at the Raj Bhavan on Friday to mark the Independence Day celebrations, to protest against the governor's activities which, according to the government, have been going against the interests of the people of Tamil Nadu.
An official release here said Higher Education Minister Govi Chezhiaan will boycott the convocations of Alagappa University and Thiruvalluvar University to be held on August 18 and August 19, respectively. However, the government did not clarify whether the ministers and senior officials of the state will attend the At Home Reception or not.
