SC seeks Centre, Ladakh replies on plea against Wangchuk’s detention

Response sought from RBI on assets portal
THE Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice and sought response from the Centre and the Union Territory of Ladakh on a plea filed by climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s wife Dr Gitanjali Angmo challenging his detention under the National Security Act (NSA) and seeking his immediate release.
A two-judge bench of Justices Aravind Kumar and NV Anjaria sought detailed responses from the respective (respondents) governments and posted the matter for further hearing on October 14.
