DOMESTIC equity market plummeted for the third straight session as weak earnings of large firms weighed on sentiments.
A sharp decline in Axis Bank of over 5% following its results made participants cautious ahead of upcoming earnings from other banking heavyweights, namely HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, which are scheduled over the weekend.
