CM says will protect Aurangzeb tomb, but no glorification

FOLLOWING the clarion call of BJP minister Nitesh Rane and fringe elements to pull down the tomb of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Monday clarified that though it is the government's responsibility to protect the tomb in Khuldabad, it will not allow the Mughal's glorification.
He said in the Assembly, "We will protect Aurangzeb's grave but will not allow his or the site's glorification. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's temple will be glorified, not Aurangzeb's grave."
