A 25-year-old woman brought her quadruplets to the district collectorate on Monday and petitioned collector Dr R Sukumar seeking employment at an anganwadi centre or in the noon-meal programme.
The petitioner, P Esakkiammal alias Usha, a resident of Pathamadai in Ambasamudram taluk, stated that her husband developed mental illness following an accident, leaving her to raise the children on a daily wage.
