Those living in Dubai will soon receive free access to ChatGPT Plus, the premium version of OpenAI's popular AI chatbot.
This significant move is part of a new partnership between OpenAI and the UAE government aimed at positioning the country as a global leader in artificial intelligence.
According to Axios, the free ChatGPT Plus access is linked to the Stargate UAE project—a massive AI data centre currently under construction in Abu Dhabi. The facility will feature a one-gigawatt AI computing cluster, with its first 200-megawatt phase expected to be operational next year.
