Disabled man returns Aadhaar after being denied patta land for 8 years

A 38-year-old disabled man returned his identity cards, including Aadhaar card, at the weekly grievance redressal meeting on Monday, alleging that no action was taken on his previous petitions for the last eight years demanding free patta land.
Recently, his mud house collapsed in the rain and he was living with his son in a cattle shed at Ilayarasanendal village.
The petitioner S Kadal Pandi (38) of East street in Ilayarasanendal panchayat told the collector that he petitioned him previously to provide free patta land and a house, which was not yet considered.
