Death toll rises to seven, CM announces solatium

THE death toll in Sunday's accident involving two cars on the Tirunelveli-Kanniyakumari highway accident rose to seven on Monday.
Chief Minister M K Stalin expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased, and announced solatium of ₹2 lakh each to the kin of the dead, ₹1 lakh each to those who suffered serious injuries, and ₹50,000 each to those who suffered minor injuries. In a statement Stalin said that he was deeply shocked
