Two months after robbery, 2 cops & home guard held

TWO police personnel and a home guard were arrested on Sunday night for allegedly robbing ₹5,000 from a man near Palpannai in Tiruchy.
The suspects were identified as Ashok Kumar (36), a Grade-I police constable with the Highway Patrol from Tiruchy Airport, V Punniyakumar (36), a police constable and driver in the City Armed Reserve from Police Quarters in KK Nagar and R Veeramani (38), a home guard from Anna Nagar on EB Road.
