IN a chilling reminder of the Atul Subhash death case, a techie from Agra reportedly committed suicide on Monday, leaving behind a video clip where he is seen accusing his wife of forcing him to take the extreme step.
Manav Sharma, 30, a recruitment manager at Tata Consultancy Services, was a resident of Defence Colony in Agra but based in Mumbai.
According to police sources, Manav Sharma married Nikita Sharma on January 30, 2024. His father, Narendra Sharma, a retired IAF officer, lodged a complaint at Sadar police station in Agra regarding the incident.
ACP (Sadar) Vinayak Bhonsle said a case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by Narendra Sharma. The complainant said Manav and his wife visited his in-law's house in Agra on February 23, where he was allegedly insulted.
