JAMMU and Kashmir's Doda district is on boil over the arrest and booking under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) of AAP MLA Mehraj Malik, with people staging protests in many parts of the district to demand the immediate release of the arrested MLA and the withdrawal of the PSA against him.

The administration has also slowed down the speed of the internet to 2G speed in the district. On the call of AAP, people assembled at the main town of Doda in the morning today and staged a demonstration. Chanting slogans, the protestors were demanding the release of the arrested MLA and the withdrawal of the PSA against him.
