Amid the tide of misinformation, the Fact Check Unit (FCU) of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) stepped up to counter the chaos. With no credible mechanism previously in place to challenge the barrage of fake news disseminated by pro-Pakistan handles, the FCU took on the critical task of identifying and debunking each false claim with precision.
