THE Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway has reported a record-breaking gross revenue of ₹5,836.61 crore for the financial year 2024-25, marking its highest earnings to date.
Of this, freight revenue accounted for ₹4,239.74 crore, with freight loading reaching 38.322 million tonnes—surpassing the previous record of 38.169 million tonnes set in 2014-15.
The division also transported 66.7 million passengers, generating ₹1,386.14 crore in passenger revenue.
