DMK Secy says it is an attempt to divert attention from 'vote theft'
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids on premises linked to Minister I. Periyasamy are nothing but "an act of political vendetta" and an attempt to "divert attention" from the 'vote theft' row over alleged electoral fraud in the 2024 parliamentary elections that the BJP-led NDA won, said DMK organisation secretary R.S. Bharathi.
"The BJP stands exposed for indulging in electoral fraud by using the Election Commission. The country is shocked over this. To divert attention from the illegal vote theft, the ED is conducting searches at premises linked to Periyasamy," he alleged in a statement.
