REJECTING comedian Kunal Kamra's request for a week to appear before it, the Mumbai Police on Wednesday decided to issue him a second summons, asking him to appear in person for questioning in connection with his controversial remarks reportedly aimed at Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

- SUDHIR SURYAWANSHI @ Mumbai

The first summons asked him to appear on Tuesday, but he sought more time. The summons follows the police, filing a case against Kamra for his "gaddar" (traitor) joke targeted at Shinde.
