D'gere to host fruit and flower show from today

PEOPLE of the Central Karnataka city Davanagere will have an additional opportunity to celebrate the new year as the annual fruit and flower show is being organised from today (December 28, 2024) to January 1, 2025.
The flower show will be inaugurated by Minister for Mines and Geology, Horticulture SS Mallikarjun, at 5 pm on December 28 at the glass house. MLA Dr Shamanur Shivashankarappa will preside over the programme. For five days the glass house and its surroundings will turn into a floral wonderland and the glass house will glow under the brilliance with electrical illumination.
