AAM Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the President of India through the district administration to initiate suitable action against Union Home Minister Amit Shah for using derogatory remarks on Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar, architect of the constitution.

- EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @Shivamogga

Speaking to media persons, AAP district minority cell president Syed Jameel Ahmad alleged that the Home Minister in the session has intended to ignite communal tension among people of the country by speaking against Dr Ambedkar and the constitution.

"There are thousands of castes in the country. No force on earth can talk about changing the constitution scripted by B R Ambedkar envisaging equal rights for all. The Home Minister has insulted the constitution and its architect Dr Ambedkar, the President of India should take action and disqualify him from the ministerial post," Jameel demanded.
