2 Lakh People Expected at Hosapete Convention

AICC Secretary Mayura S Jayakumar on Friday said that as many as two lakh people are expected to attend the state government's two-year celebration programme, which is going to be held at Hospete of Vijayanagar district on May 20.
Addressing the district Congress workers in the preliminary preparation meeting held in the city, he said that one lakh beneficiaries of various schemes will be given letters and papers of rights.
Party leaders including AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi have been invited to this convention and all of them are participating. The government and the Congress party are working hard to make the convention a memorable one.
