THE Civil Supplies-Crime Investigation Department (CS-CID) arrested two PDS workers on Tuesday for allegedly smuggling nearly a tonne of ration rice from a fair price shop to a private college near Nagapattinam.

Officials also raided the college and seized several tonnes of rations suspected to have been diverted from PDS outlets.
