Internet access disrupted in parts of Asia as sea cables cut

UNDERSEA cable cuts in the Red Sea disrupted internet access on Sunday in parts of Asia, including India, and the West East, experts said, though the cause of the incident was not immediately clear.
-
There has been concern that the cables could be targeted as part of a campaign by Yemen's Houthi rebels in the Red Sea, which the rebels describe as an effort to pressure Israel to end its war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip. However, the Houthis have previously denied attacking the cables.
