Palaniswami had said funds released after his meeting with Shah
CHIEF Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday took on AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami for his recent claims on the release of central funds to the state after the latter's meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
"Palaniswami claimed that the central government released funds for the Metro Phase II works in Chennai and the pending wages of MGNREGA workers in Tamil Nadu only after he met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi and sought funds. This is humbug. Speaking lies and deception is the duty of EPS. People know about it very well," the chief minister said while interacting with the media in front of the HADP Open Air Stadium in Ooty during his morning walk.
Edappadi K Palaniswami has a habit of lying. The country knows the reason behind the meeting, he added.
