SC Families' Survey to Be Held in 3 Phases: ZP CEO

A comprehensive survey of Scheduled Caste families will be conducted in three distinct phases -- door-to-door visits, special camps, and online self-declaration, announced ZP CEO S Yukesh Kumar.

Presiding over a meeting convened in connection with the survey initiated by the HN Nagamohan Das Committee on internal reservation within the Scheduled Castes at the Abdul Nazir Hall of the Zilla Panchayat here on Friday, Kumar informed that 101 sub-castes within the SCs have been identified. Master trainers have already been selected from each district and sent for state-level training.

The door-to-door phase of the survey will be conducted from May 5 to May 17. Following this, special camps will be organised at polling booth levels from May 19 to May 21, while online self-declaration will be open from May 19 to May 23. "This survey focuses exclusively on SC families. When teachers come for the survey, members of Scheduled Castes are requested to cooperate and provide accurate information. Officials must ensure that no SC household is left out during the process," Kumar emphasised.
