Mass Protest March & Rally against UKTL on February 20

MANGALURU and Udupi units of Catholic Sabha will organise a 'Mass Protest March and Rally' in Mangaluru city on February 20 against the Udupi-Kasaragod 400 KV power line project (UKTL).
At 9.30 am on that day, a 'Hakkotaya Jatha' will be taken out from Balmatta to the Mini Vidhana Sabha where a protest will be held in which over 15,000 people, including affected individuals, farmers, environmental activists and citizens concerned will raise awareness and alert the government, elected representatives, and the district administration about the issues related to the project.
