A gram panchayat vice-president along with village leaders beat drums on the streets of the village announcing that no villager had been socially boycotted in the village.
The incident took place in Edathore Palya at Annuru village in HD Kote recently. The video of Annuru gram panchayat vice-president Edathore Mahesh beating a drum and announcing that villager Menakshi Mahadevu and her family had not been boycotted by the villagers had gone viral in social media.
