Exam system has seen reforms in 2 decades: Registrar

OVER the past two decades, significant reforms have taken place in the examination system, making it more student-centric with improved evaluation methods, University of Mysore Registrar (Evaluation) Prof N Nagaraj has said.
Speaking at the day-long workshop on 'Examination Reforms' organised at JSS Women's College, Saraswathipuram, on Thursday, Nagaraj said: "Before 2004, clearing a degree was quite challenging. Even students who graduated with second-class distinctions in multiple subjects managed to secure university ranks. The number of students passing was also relatively low."
