CM Announces Slew Of Projects For Hometown To Create Jobs, Boost Tourism

CHIEF Minister Siddaramaiah has put his hometown Mysuru on development track by announcing a slew of projects worth over ₹1,000 crore, raising hopes on the much-awaited expansion of Mysore Airport runway and setting up of a modern Film City.
Siddaramaiah, who was instrumental in the construction of Jayadeva Cardiac Hospital, District Hospital, Trauma Centre, Maharani's College, white-topping of prominent roads and other key projects during his previous tenure, has lived up to the expectations of Mysureans in his 16th budget. He has continued his focus on improving healthcare by proposing Regional Endocrinology Centres and NIMHANS-model institutes in the city.
