THE Jagadguru Renukacharya Jayanti was celebrated with great reverence on Wednesday, with a call to embrace the spirit of equality and unity among all.
Speaking at the celebration organised by the district administration and the Department of Kannada and Culture, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Shivaraju emphasised the significance of understanding the true essence of such commemorations.
"We have been celebrating Renukacharya Jayanti for years. His presence is not just in our minds but also in our homes. We have made this event more meaningful by organising it as a government celebration," he stated.
