LEGISLATIVE Assembly Speaker UT Khader has recommended forming an expert committee to assess the demand for setting up the Byari Development Corporation.
After inaugurating the Dakshina Kannada District Byari Representatives Meeting, organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Byari Mahasabha at Town Hall here on Wednesday, Khader said the demand for the Corporation is legitimate. However, before it is set up, there is a need to discuss its potential advantages and disadvantages. It is essential to first understand what benefits the Byari community would derive from such a corporation. To explore this, a committee of experts should be formed, he suggested.
