MLC Ivan D'souza on Tuesday said that the Congress will hold protests against the NDA government against a hike in fuel prices and other essential commodities which have burdened the people.

- EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @ Mangaluru

Addressing a press conference in Mangaluru, Ivan lashed out at the BJP and said that the BJP is holding Janakrosha Yatre against the Congress government for their political relevance in the state. "BJP leaders are accusing our government of price hike. The state government has announced hikes in prices in the recent budget that would burden the people. Hence, instead of blaming the state government, the BJP should protest against the union government for increasing petrol, diesel and LPG prices, which have directly resulted in a hike in prices of essential commodities. But the BJP has no courage to question their government in the Centre."
